Tell me, what exactly are these people protesting for? What are they protesting against?
Why are they out after dark, and what will be achieved by being out at this hour of the night?
I’ve been following these “protests” for many weeks, and I see the same pattern happening here as I did when watching the events unfold in Seattle with Chaz/Chop. It’s not going to get any better.
People have told me that these people are protesting for black lives. For my life? Are these people protesting for MY life? If this is what that means, they all can go home. None of this is helping any black person I know.
The more things happen like this, and if it ever gets national coverage, you’ll see people calling for “law and order.” This is unsustainable.
Watch the entire thing unfold. You’ll see it in context. Watch for the white guy in the blue shirt, who in the end, gets knocked out.
Is this what black lives matter is all about now?
This should be a warning for any white people who think they're safe by allying themselves with this "movement." They'll turn on you any time they feel like it.
UPDATE: Portland police identify man suspected of assaulting driver during Black Lives Matter protest
