Would the economic, educational, and social problems facing poor communities disappear or fade to the point of irrelevance if a magic wand waved and the electorate's progressive wing suddenly gained the power to enact its agenda?
There is a progressive wish list:
Raising the minimum wage
Offering free college tuition
Awarding reparations to the descendants of enslaved people
Reinvigorating affirmative action
Instituting a CRT-influenced curriculum in our schools
Defunding the police
What would happen if they could get everything they wanted?
Same as it ever was: since leftism in general has always been the middle-class-targeting sector of organized crime interests, and since organized crime itself is largely a by-product of a domestic espionage program disguised as 'income tax', and since the middle class's prime motivation in service of its lifestyles has always been finding ways to disguise and launder its untaxed income sources, organized crime will simply expand with more and better offerings of how to avoid income taxes. None of this world-saving rhetoric has ever had anything to do with saving the world from anything, but the beauty of it is for organized crime, that those who believe it does don't have to know that. Which is good for everyone in on the tax-dodging business of leftism, especially since so many middle-class world-savers actually think they believe in a lot of hot air, aimed straight at their gullible minds.
