Thinking Things Through
Welcome to Think Things Through. I’m an independent thinker, father of two beautiful children in New York City and the drummer of the hit broadway musical Ain’t Too Proud. I’ve been in the New York music scene for the past 27 years and have played drums in a number of hit Broadway musicals including “Tick, tick…BOOM!,Altar Boyz, Memphis The Musical and Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar and Grill.
I also volunteer as the Chair of the New York affiliate of the National Parents Organization. We focuse on promoting shared parenting, where both parents have equal standing raising children after a separation or divorce.
I decided to publish my content here because I felt a need to share my thoughts and ideas. I plan on writing daily, but if life gets in the way, you’ll see content in your inbox sooner than later!
I had a blog called the Socraddock method many years ago. I felt the need to abandon that site and publish all of my ideas and posts on claytoncraddock.com. I discovered the Socratic method many years ago and found it fascinating. When you start asking people questions and digging deeper into what people are really feeling and thinking, people tend to either feel cornered or threatened - or simply realize what they were thinking really didn’t make sense after all. I like to think things through.
This newsletter will continue my thought provoking process and hopefully make my readers a little more knowledgeable and intellectually curious.
My content will be completely free until Fathers Day 2020 (June 21). Stay tuned for more info on that in the next few months.
For now, sign up below and you can also follow me on Instagram and Twitter.
In the meantime, tell your friends!
