If Democrats are predisposed to believe women, what should they do about Tara Reade? Do liberals treat Joe Biden like they did with Brett Kavanaugh and Al Franken and demand they resign from their position or withdraw their nomination? Will progressives treat Tara Reade in the same manner as conservatives did with Stormy Daniels and Christine Blasey-Ford and totally discredit her?
I think progressives painted themselves into a corner.
Maybe it’s time for Biden to step down and let someone else who hasn’t been accused of sexual assault take his place.
I always knew this day was coming. A prominent liberal figure getting caught up in the #believewomen web. It was inevitable.
I’ve been following this social justice campaign since 2013 and saw how it was littered with all kinds of conflicting messages. The arguments from the left had so many inconsistencies and illogical lines of reasoning. From enthusiastic consent, to safe spaces, trigger warnings, equality, gender politics, preferred pronouns to the selective applications of #metoo...very little made sense.
When trump got elected, conservative ideals were thrown out. They way they felt about debt, fiscal conservatism and their own morality was torn to shreds when they backed the current occupant in the White House. I feel they’re in the same ideological rudderless boat as liberals.
Nowadays, I see very few people on the left or right who have a moral leg to stand on.
With that said, should we throw out all of the things the #metoo movement supposedly fought for? It did have value in informing the public of the types of behavior that were clearly unacceptable.
Do all political movements go too far? Absolutely! I felt #metoo went to far when man haters used it as a weapon and increased the power of Title IX adjudication on college campuses. It got worse in 2018 when all kinds of men were convicted in the court of public opinion.
Should we forget all of that because it’s time to win and election?
If so, forget believing anyone from now on.
I believe nothing at first, so nothing changes with me. I question, probe and wait for more evidence before coming to any conclusion. I hope we can do that here.

I really miss the NBA. Right about now would be the playoffs, which I feel is the best sports season of the year. The best of the best are playing each other in a highly competitive series of games. It’s a time where the players are really playing hard and a time where they really compete.
Paul Pierce was trending today on Twitter and I thought I’d share a series of hi lights I saw. He was a really good player in his prime.
