Being White Means You Are Racist
the CEO of Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington denounced his own church and charitable organization as “racist.”
Shouldn’t he resign?
Maybe give all of the money to black people. Hey guilty white man, send the money to my checking account immediately. Since I won’t be working in my chosen profession for at least another 6, 7 or 8 months, a brother like me could use a coupla dollars!
White guilt on steroids:
“In America, racism is no longer a question. But rather, it’s the toxic water in which we all swim. My Catholic Church and my Catholic Charities organization is racist.”
“For me as a white person, saying I’m not a racist is like saying a fish is not wet.”
“How could we not be? Our Catholic faith tradition was BUILT on the premise that a baby born in a manger in the Middle East was a white baby. So how can we be surprised to know that we are a church that must still fight against this racism even now.”
